You will find at each station and attached to this message a copy of the COVID Contingency Schedule. Thank you to Dan for the hours of work put into this schedule.
By now you all have heard of the schedule changes planned as we progress through this crisis. In order to create distance between our workforce and hopefully avoid any wide-spread COVID contamination among the staff, we are planning to split our operations between HCMC and Hennepin County Sheriff Communications. Determination on which staff are reporting where was decided based primarily on schedules and rotations. All staff are assigned a location and will report there until crisis operations are terminated. Other things to note:
All ECC staff will be moved to four 12 hr shifts per week. Total 48 hours per week.
Time off awarding process will be altered to single-day conditional requests.
Overtime bonus is not eligible for the scheduled OT.
Travel reimbursement is eligible to the staff reporting to HCSO, for the difference in mileage between HCMC and HCSO.
Staff scheduled to report to HCSO will be offered the opportunity to visit the facility ahead of time for familiarization.
There is much more info to come on this whole process. Please keep an eye on this bulletin board and the Command Center emails for information.
